5 steps to sexy Parisian style hair

Want your hair to look like you strut straight out of Paris? To capture the 'do we didn't have pack our bags, instead we jetted backstage to New York fashion week where Hair Stylist Ted Gibson shared his steps to give your locks an edgy take on the French girl style.

Step 1: Use a texture building spray or mousse on the hair

Start from the scalp to ends of hair.

Step 2: Blow out hair using a round brush on high heat

Grab a medium size round brush and make sure the dryer is HOT, HOT, HOT!

Step 3: Center part the hair
Straight down the middle folks!

Step 4: Back-comb at the scalp to add volume

This creates the style to look a "little bit more roughed up...with a bit of texture," says the hair guru.

Step 5: Smooth out the look to finish
