One of fashion's biggest nights, the Met Costume Gala attracts the hottest celebs all to honor the Met Museum's new Costume Institute exhibit, this year showing off the work of designer Charles James.
On the carpet...style icons, Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour in Chanel Couture and Jessica Sarah Parker in Oscar de la Renta gown.
Also in Chanel Couture was Kristin Stewart and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in a vintage version. Allison Williams, Claire Danes, and Taylor Swift took cues from SPJ and wore glamorous Oscar de la Renta gowns.
Stella McCartney struck a pose with an a-list posse of Reese Witherspoon, Kate Bosworth, Rihanna and Cara Delevingne all wearing her creations.
Selena Gomez and Jessica Alba both rocked Diane von Furstenberg and Kate Mara and Maggie Gyllenhaul both wore Valentino.
Katie Holmes made a statement in Marchesa, Michelle Williams wore Louis Vuitton and Anne Hathaway styles Calvin Klein. Another Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o once again wore Prada.
For the guys Bradley Cooper looked dapper in a three piece Tom Ford suit and Paul Rudd in Calvin Klein.
Paired with purple hair Nicole Ritchie donned Dona Karen Atelier and Janelle Monae 'do was done up and braided as she was layered in Tadashi Shoji.
And accompanied by designers, Kristin Wiig in Balenciaga walked the carpet with Alexander Wang and Lena Dunham was on the arm of Giambattista Valli who constructed her detail dress.
