Paul Rudd, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, Richard Kind and more joined Project A.L.S. to celebrate their 15th anniversary at Roseland Ballroom last night. The non-profit committed to understanding and effectively treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (A.L.S. or Lou Gehrig's disease) welcomed friends and supporters to join them as they returned to the site of their first New York City benefit.

"They help lots of new technologies, they make donations, they work with all different kinds of people to try and cure this mysterious and horrible disease," says Paul Rudd.

Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor presented A.L.S. sufferer Tom Kirchhoff and his family with the Jenifer Estess Award named after the projects founder.

"[He] has been a huge advocate for project A.L.S. and his children and his wife they have been incredible," says Taylor.

Project A.L.S. has raised over 65 million dollars thus far for stem cell research and the research also helps other neurodegenerative diseases notes actress Gaby Hoffmann.

"In about ten years I think that will be affecting one in twenty-five Americans," says Hoffmann.

The gala aims to continue to raise funds and knowledge about A.L.S.

"It makes awareness and people maybe will give money or know where to go for help and we are finding a cure," says Richard Kind.
