What Do The Halo Awards Mean To You?

"It's all about helping and leading others one good deed at a time, and to show people that the halo effect can just spread all across the world and bring happiness and joy. That's my ultimate goal," says Nick Cannon, Rapper & Host of Nickelodeon Halo Awards 2016.

Actress Jojo Siwa agrees: "People are so rude, and I don't understand why they think it's ok to be like, 'you're fat, you're bad, you're ugly, I hate you.' It's not ok. Be yourself. Be confident and don't listen to the haters."

"Be you and be awesome in that you're you and you have your own dorky ridiculous things about you and be kind to the people are around you. It just makes things so much easier," says actress Kira Kosarin.

The boys were on the same page. "Always encourage younger kids, the younger generation, to be the best person they can in their community. Be nice to everyone and spread peace and love," advises musician Jake Miller.

"There's so much for us to change in this world, that we can do on a daily basis that I feel like Halo really expresses that to the world and helps kids change the world too," according to singer/songwriter AJ Lehrman.

What Are You Doing Now?

"We're about to announce a big tour in 2017 and we just put out an EP called Overnight so we are going to be on tour promoting that," says Miller.

"I actually just released my song, my video is called Tongue and it's in virtual reality so you can check it out," says Lehrman.

"Working on a movie in New Mexico. We just finished filming Legends of the Hidden Temple, and it's coming out November 26th so keep an eye out. On Nickelodeon," says actress Isabella Moner.

"Right now we are on a little bit of a hiatus. We shot what we thought was going to be season four, and then we got extended so we're coming back in the new year to shoot a bunch more episodes which is really great. So like thirty more episodes are coming to tv in the next year which we are really excited about," says Kosarin.

Tune in to Nickelodeon on November 27th at 7pm to see the Halo Awards. For more information go to Nick.com.
