'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' Premieres in NYC
The highly anticipated film stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara and is an adaptation of Stieg Larsson's book- an international best seller, set in Sweden.
“I’m a huge fan of the book, and it’s an unbelievably great story,” said Actor, Anthony Edwards as he walked the carpet.
Journalist Mikael Blomkvist, played by Daniel Craig is searching for a woman who has been missing for over forty years. Lisbeth Salander, a computer hacker played by Mara, assists him in the thrilling search.
“Rooney Mara, the first day she came on stage I saw that fierce, fire inside her,” says cast member Stellan Skarsgard.
That fire did not go unnoticed, just hours before the premiere, Mara was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the film. The breakout star may play a computer hacker, covered in tattoos but Mara wowed on the carpet in a cutout LBD, which seems to be her signature look these days.
