Husband and wife design duo, Max and Lubov Azria, kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for Spring 2015 with a fluid and ethereal muted color wheel of a collection that celebrates women.
"The inspiration for this show really came from a process called color reform," says Lubov, "We have a lot of really easy bohemian dresses. Everything is flowing and beautiful, and this time I wanted to celebrate the woman."
One woman loving the looks is Fashion Journalist Louise Roe. "This is the one show that I watch, and I'm like, 'I'm going to wear all of that. Everything,'" she says.
"I'm really excited to see the show; you know, you've seen clips on TV, but I've never been there in person," says Amanda Crew, who wore one of Max's dresses to this year's Emmys.
The simply styled hair and fresh-faced makeup completes the concept. "It's about beautiful skin, it's about glowing skin," says Lubov, "The hair is all about texture."
"It's kind of a little bit of a nod to the '60s, but she's a free-spirited Bohemian girl, so she should look quite natural," says hairstylist Orlando Pita.
"This was such a great start to Fashion Week," says Jay Manuel, "So beautiful and timeless and classic."
