Inspired by the 80's movie"Cat People" Malandrino describes her collection as "plays ofday and night and sharp contrasts."
While black is a Malandrinostaple, the ubiquitous shocking color trend we've been seeing, dons everythingfrom sleek leathers to shots of furs, and draped gowns.
Malandrino even turnscrocodile skins to white on dresses and pants. Embellishments include blackcrystal and colorful discs on mesh dresses.
Makeup follows suit with an"animalist feel" says Makeup Artist, Gilbert Soliz who painted hisladies in "black, fuscia and jewel-tones." Paper Magazine's MickeyBoardman, sums it up best--"Sexy, sexy, sexy soFrench and so glamorous."
