Inside HSN's Fashion Lounge

Hal Rubenstein and June Ambrose show off their debut fall collections

From the LifeMInute team

June Ambrose and Hal Rubenstein flashed their fall collections at the first ever HSN Fashion Week Fall Fashion Lounge at the Empire Hotel in New York City. The lounge offered was great for a recharge between shows with makeup and hair touch-ups from Trish McEvoy and Blow and of course a sneak peek of chic collections out now.

HSN veteran and celeb stylist, June Ambrose declares it's all about the details this season as seen in her new shoe collection.

"It's all about creating ... the regality and still toughness for a woman but then you have this feminine twist but again added value with details," says the designer.

She captures the royal style in the intricacies of smaller pieces like jeweled necklaces and embellished shoes.

"I just have such an infatuation with the queen and the king," says Ambrose "I'm like if I could make them a little tough what would I design for that you know?... that younger new monarchy, so that was inspiration."

She confesses her clothes make you feel like you're "taking a trip somewhere else" all while feeling "royal and regal and getting a lot for your money."

InStyle's editor-at-large, Hal Rubenstein's collection also provokes personal greatness.

"It's about presenting your best self forward because when you present your best self to the world I think you just feel better," says the designer.

He says the way it works is finding quality clothes that fit, made of fabrics that feel as good as they look.

"I'm trying to help women see themselves if not through my eyes, at least through the eyes of the people who love them, that they are special, they're all special," says Rubenstein.
