Femininity is in full bloom on the Rebecca Taylor runway but she keeps it fresh with menswear influences and tough touches attracting the likes of reality tv style star Kelly Bensimon Killoren

Femininity is in full bloom on the Rebecca Taylor runway.

"I wanted, for spring, to do something that was light and fresh and modern and beautiful, " says Taylor.

Lovely it is ... lots of lace, shades of grey and yellow.

"The clothes that she designs are the kind of clothes I like to buy my wife. I feel like I can actually do a bit of shopping when I go to one of her shows. She really dresses women and understands them. It's sexy, feminine but it's on point for a women," says Nigel Barker, stylist and host of "The Face."

But Taylor doesn't totally ignore the male perspective. Her spring line has a unisex thread with oversized sweatshirts
and sweatpants.

"She's known for very feminine, soft, flirtatious palette and I think today was really exciting because she's branching out," says reality TV star Kelly Bensimon Killoren.

The designer walks all over the competition with her tough tootsies rather than styles for tip-toeing-through-the-tulips.

"She's using leather, her shoes are great, the camel shoes, perforated metal I thought was really cool, " adds Bensimon Killoren.

Raspberry is her picking for a pop of color. Berry nice. And cool cropped, white mesh-like looks with an 80s vibe.

"She's using cropped leather, she's using chiffon that's printed and she's just having a lot of fun with all of that," says Bensimon.

Fun -- floral -- funky ... fabulous!
