Ready, lift, take-off! Arm & Hammer is once again taking creativity, arts, and science to new heights this week for its second annual Rocket Day, inspiring students all across the country to get involved in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics).

Rocket Day was celebrated in more than 18,000 classrooms across the country, including this one in Queens, NY at P.S. 127 where scientist, aerospace engineer, TV host, and best-selling author Emily Calandrelli, known as “The Space Gal,” was on hand.

Calandrelli says this day isn’t just about launching rockets, it’s about launching futures and inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, artists and innovators.

The goal is to provide students of all backgrounds an accessible and exciting way to explore STEAM using materials they already have at home or in the classroom. By combining the everyday magic of baking soda with hands-on creativity, it helps teach kids problem-solving skills and ignites their curiosity, which is something Arm & Hammer has supported for years.
