What's on Americans' Thanksgiving tables this Turkey Day? Well, it's way more than just the bird, reveals a Pillsbury survey. Entertaining Expert Madison Mayberry shares the results and serves up tips for the best Thanksgiving ever.

"It was interesting to see how a majority of Americans feel like cooking is a great way to show their loved ones that they care for them but that Thanksgiving is the most stressful meal they prepare all year," says Mayberry.

Mayberry recommends using convenience products when creating your holiday dishes, like Pillsbury Pie Crust. "It's a great way to make things from scratch but not be too stressed over," says the pro. Just unroll it, press into the pie plate, add your desired fillings and bake. They have some delicious takes on traditional pie recipes for people who are looking to mix up the spread, like a salted caramel pecan or pumpkin spice latte pie. "That flavor is super hot right now, the traditional pumpkin pie with a little bit of espresso powder mixed in," says Mayberry.

Another must is the bread basket that three in four Americans pass around the table. For a unique twist, try using Pillsbury crescents to perk up sweet potato casserole. "It's sweet potato, marshmallows, pecan and brown sugar all rolled up in an easy roll," says Mayberry (yum!). You can also serve crescents with fresh herbs; just brush with butter and top with fresh herbs and you're good to go.

"Vegetables continue to be hot, hot, hot" says Mayberry, "People are going to be serving them in all shapes and forms." Sample your fave veggie in a steaming casserole whether it be broccoli, brussel sprouts or green beans.

And don't worry all you Thanksgiving traditionalists out there...the turkey is here to stay! "Nine in ten Americans are still going to be serving turkey," says Mayberry. However, if you want to switch it up, try new preparation alternatives like brining or frying for a fresh twist on turkey.
