For the last decade, singer/songwriter Ian Flanigan has toured his unique voice and evocative lyrics across the country, and it was a shot on The Voice in 2020 that garnered him national attention.

In fact, Blake Shelton called his voice, “the most unique he’s ever heard” on the show. Gwen Stefani said, "nobody has a voice that sounds like that, it's just so rare."

Flanigan also keeps his eye on life's bigger picture. He just got married to long-time girlfriend, Kelsey Charles, and celebrates nine years sober this April, with a commitment to helping others, serving on the advisory board of Hope Rocks, the New York organization that supports those who are struggling with addiction, depression, and social isolation.

His latest album Strong has gained much success, and he’s working on new music that’s soon to be released, as well as a tour. We were fortunate to get a listen at the LifeMinute studios recently to hear all about it and more.

This is a LifeMinute with Ian Flanigan.
