Sean "Diddy" Combs acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering and convicted on two lesser prostitution charges
Jurors reached a verdict on all five counts in the 55-year-old artist’s federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial in New York City this morning. He is acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering but convicted on two lesser counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The hip hop mogul could face up to 10 years in prison but overall, this is a victory for Combs who could have served life in prison if he was not acquitted of the more serious charges. Sentencing is still underway.

Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart dies at 90
The Pentecostal pastor passed away from alleged cardiac arrest yesterday. His Facebook page posted, “On July 1, 1985, the Lord gave Brother Swaggart a vision about the coming harvest and the call he placed on him to bring souls to the kingdom. 40 years to the day, the Lord chose to bring Brother Swaggart home and say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." The Louisiana-native who went on to become one of the most well-known televangelists in America’s ministry was rattled by numerous sex scandals in the ‘80s and ‘90s. However, the charismatic preacher continued his mission to share the gospel for decades to come.
