You may know her as the girl with the wild hair and soulful voice that all but dominated the ninth season of American Idol. But now Crystal Bowersox is using that voice to reach out to the nearly 26 million Americans who, like her, live with diabetes.
She's partnered with the makers of OneTouch blood glucose monitors on their Life First campaign. The goal is to encourage people with diabetes to share their experiences and to help them understand that by managing their diabetes they can live their lives without limits.
