"The U by Kotex brand knows women have a lot of passion for and ideas about how to make things better when it comes to period experiences and feminine care," says Lifestyle Expert Kris Drew. "That's why they created the signature Period Projects, each championed by a woman, that celebrate passion for creative change."

Giving Back

The most recent period project, Power To The Period, is the first-ever national period donation drive executed in partnership with DoSomething.org. Inspired by a tweet from Holly Sanchez urging people to donate period products to homeless shelters, Power To The Period is all about changing how we think about, talk about, and support the needs of millions of people experiencing homelessness in our communities. Power to the Period has even garnered support from YouTube celebrity Ingrid Nelson.

The Best Pop Up, Period

Earlier this year, U by Kotex kicked off the Period Project with the launch of the Period Shop, the first pop-up shop catering to all things period. "Inspired by a Tumblr post from Sarah M., this shop was proof that together we can change how we think about, talk about, and shop for periods," says Drew.

The U by Kotex Period Project isn't ending anytime soon. Visit ubykotex.com to request a free sample and to learn more about these and other Period Projects in the year to come. You can also joint the online conversation with #periodprojects.
