For his Fall/Winter 2026 collection, Dennis Basso looked to the sophistication and allure of New York evenings, channeling the timeless elegance of style icons such as Nan Kempner, C.Z. Guest, and Pat Buckley. The result is a lineup that feels both glamorous and assured—an homage to the ritual of dressing up for a night in the city. 

“In this collection we’ve worked with gazar and tweed, hand-embroidered brocade, feather detailing, chiffon, beautiful silk and charmeuse—and we’ve incorporated a great deal of velvet as well,” Basso said. 

The rich interplay of textures and fabrics underscores the collection’s sense of refinement and drama. Basso also gravitated toward a predominantly black-and-white, monochromatic palette for the season, reinforcing the line’s polished, graphic appeal.

Ultimately, the collection celebrates the moment of stepping out—when confidence, beauty, and impeccable style converge. “Fashion should make you look good, but it should also make you feel good—that was my objective with this collection,” he shared.
