2026 NFL Draft kicks off in Pittsburgh
The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft begins tonight in Pittsburgh and runs through Saturday. Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick and is expected to be selected first by the Las Vegas Raiders. Top defensive talents Arvell Reese (Ohio State) and David Bailey (Texas Tech) headline a strong pass-rushing class, while Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame) is viewed as a rare, high-end running back prospect. Miami offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa rounds out the elite group as a potential franchise cornerstone in the trenches. The draft will be broadcast on NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and streams on NFL+.
DWTS champ Robert Irwin to host ballroom spinoff The Next Pro
Fresh off his Season 34 win on Dancing with the Stars, Robert Irwin is set to host the new spinoff Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro. The competition follows 12 up-and-coming dancers living together as they compete for a coveted spot as a professional dancer on Season 35 this fall. Irwin will be joined by reigning pro champion Mark Ballas and his mother, Shirley Ballas, one of the most respected figures in competitive ballroom dance. Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro premieres Monday, July 13 on ABC and streams on Hulu.
Josh Groban and Natalie McQueen are engaged after Disneyland proposal
Josh Groban is officially engaged to British West End actress Natalie McQueen after a romantic proposal at Disneyland. The 45-year-old singer popped the question at Snow White’s Wishing Well near Sleeping Beauty Castle, surrounded by floral arrangements and a custom setup for the moment. Groban shared the news on social media, writing: “MY BEST FRIEND SAID YES!!! Sharing this life with you is my happiest place.” He proposed with a custom marquise-cut diamond ring featuring side stones in yellow gold, which he helped design through Auroro Fine Jewelry. The couple celebrated afterward under a flower-filled pagoda with a custom “Congratulations” cake. Groban and McQueen began dating in 2022 and went public with their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2023.
Shania Twain to host ACM Awards May 17
Shania Twain will host the 61st Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards for the first time, marking a major milestone for the country icon. The show returns to Las Vegas after a three-year run in Texas. The first wave of performers includes Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Riley Green, and Little Big Town. It’s shaping up to be a true “Let’s Go Girls” moment, with women leading the nominations: Megan Moroney tops the list with nine, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, and Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson with seven each.
