Rob Reiner and wife found dead in LA home; son arrested and held on $4M bail
Director and actor Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, photographer Michele Singer Reiner, 68, were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on Sunday afternoon. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the residence at approximately 3:30 p.m. following a call for medical assistance. Firefighters pronounced the couple dead at the scene. Their son, Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested later that evening and is being held on $4 million bail, according to jail records. Over the years, he had spoken publicly about his struggles with substance abuse and periods of homelessness.
