Songwriters Hall of Fame 2026 inductees announced
Musical icons Walter Afanasieff; Alanis Morissette; Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS; Terry Britten and Graham Lyle; Kenny Loggins; Christopher “Tricky” Stewart; and Taylor Swift will become the latest inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization’s 2026 Induction and Awards Gala. These legendary songwriters are credited with mega-hits such as “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” “Hand In My Pocket,” “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Footloose,” “Single Ladies,” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)” respectively. The talented class of inductees will be honored on June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Rush to commemorate belated 40th anniversary of their 1984 album Grace Under Pressure with expanded reissues out March 13
UMe/Mercury and Anthem Records label groups continue the comprehensive Rush albums expanded reissue series, with the arrival of new Super Deluxe Editions of the band’s 1984 release, Grace Under Pressure, out March 13. Rush’s tenth studio album was originally released in April 1984, and features eight songs. Grace Under Pressure: Super Deluxe Edition will be available in five distinct configurations, including the Super Deluxe Edition 4-CD + Blu-ray, Super Deluxe Edition 5-LP + Blu-ray, Super Deluxe Digital Edition, Dolby Atmos Digital Edition, and Grace Under Pressure Tour: Live in Toronto 1984 at video DSPs. The limited-edition version of the Super Deluxe Edition includes four CDs, one Blu-ray, and a 52-page hardcover book. CD1 features the album’s original 1984 stereo mix, newly remastered from the original analog stereo master tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios.
A$AP Rocky announces 2026 Don’t Be Dumb World Tour
Rapper and fashion icon, A$AP Rocky is hitting the road in 2026 with his 42-date Don’t Be Dumb World Tour. The announcement follows the release of his long-awaited fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, which dropped last Friday. Kicking off in Chicago and wrapping up in Paris, the global trek will give fans their first opportunity to experience the 37-year-old New York City native’s first full-length project in eight years. General on-sale tickets will be available worldwide beginning January 27.
