Tyler Reddick wins Daytona 500 in dramatic last-lap finish
Tyler Reddick captured his first Daytona 500 victory on Sunday with a dramatic last-lap pass at Daytona International Speedway. Driving the No. 45 Toyota for 23XI Racing, Reddick slipped through a multi-car crash on the final lap and surged past Chase Elliott off Turn 4, winning by a razor-thin margin of 0.308 seconds. While Reddick crossed the finish line cleanly, several contenders behind him were swept up in wreckage as the field thundered to the stripe. The victory marked a powerful comeback. After going winless throughout the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, Reddick snapped a 38-race drought that dated back to his October 2024 win at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Despite not reaching Victory Lane in 2025, he remained a consistent championship threat, ultimately finishing ninth in the final standings last year.
