Savannah Guthrie and siblings release video plea for safe return of missing mother
TODAY show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, joined by her siblings Annie and Camron, released an emotional video plea late last night calling for the safe return of their 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who is believed to have been abducted from her home near Tucson, Arizona. Federal and local authorities, including the FBI and Pima County law enforcement, are investigating a series of ransom notes reportedly sent to multiple news organizations, including TMZ and local Tucson outlets. Officials have stated that the notes have not yet been authenticated. In the video, which was posted to social media with the caption “Bring her home,” Guthrie addressed the potential captors directly, saying the family is “ready to talk” but must first receive proof of life. She emphasized that in an era of digital manipulation, the family needs confirmation “without a doubt” that their mother is alive. The siblings expressed their deep love for their mother, urged her to stay strong, and appealed to the public for help. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900 or call 911.
Dave Coulier in remission for tongue cancer
After facing two cancer diagnoses in just two years, Dave Coulier is celebrating a hard-won victory. The 66-year-old Full House star revealed he is now in remission after undergoing aggressive treatment for tongue cancer. “It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure,” Coulier said during a recent appearance on Good Morning America. “I’m in remission with both cancers. And what a journey this has been.” The comedian shared in December that he had been diagnosed with p16 squamous cell carcinoma at the base of his tongue, coming just one year after he completed treatment for Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Coulier’s announcement marks a powerful milestone in his recovery and a hopeful moment after an incredibly challenging chapter.
