NYFW Spring/Summer 2024: The Blonds Latest Line Salutes Titans in Mythology and Music

Designing duo David and Phillipe Blond pays homage to everyone from Britney Spears to Medusa in their "Blond Titans" collection

The Blonds once again closed fashion week with a bang. The latest collection from founders David and Phillipe Blond was a mixture of mythic creatures and iconic pop and rockstars.

“This season, we wanted to have fun with the theme,” David Blond told us backstage. “We had a dual vision of what the show was going to be. We started with this idea of 'Clash of the Titans' and mythology, astrology, all these things. But we were also on the other side listening to our favorite pop music. People like Britney Spears, Cher, and Bowie. We are always about music, so we thought we would throw that in there as well."

The line included a lot of sparkles and dazzling colors in bodysuits, bell bottoms, mini dresses, and a catsuit. Singer Bonnie McKee, model Sophie Sumner, TV personality Chanel West Coast, and journalist Michael Musto all sat front row.
