Meghan Trainor has canceled her upcoming 33-date Get in Girl Tour, which had been scheduled to kick off June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan. The Grammy-winning singer shared the news with fans on social media, explaining that the demands of releasing a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and caring for her growing family have become overwhelming. “Balancing the release of a new album, getting ready for a tour, and welcoming our new baby girl has been more than I can take on right now,” she wrote. “I need to be home and present for all of them at this time.” Trainor, 32, and her husband, Daryl Sabara, welcomed their daughter, Mikey Moon, via surrogate in January. The couple now has three children, joining sons Riley, 5, and Barry, 2. She reassured fans that the break is temporary, adding, “I promise I’ll be back soon. I can’t wait for you to hear this new record—I’m so proud of it and endlessly grateful for your love and support.” Trainor’s seventh studio album, Toy with Me, is still set for release on April 24.
